Whalen made her debut TV show appearance in SketchCom in 1998.
One of her earliest jobs was preparing salads at Cultures in the food court at Square One Mississauga between 1986 and 1987.
It was during her high school years that she developed an interest in improv and sketch comedy. She also opted to be a writer, actor, director, entrepreneur, gerontologist, and spy.
She has written for various television shows that include SketchCom, The Gavin Crawford Show, The Ron James Show, Instant Star, InSecurity, and The Dating Guy.
