UFC Fight Night - Almeida vs Lewis LIVE: UK start time, undercard, live stream and how to follow MMA

The UFC is back in Brazil as Jailton Almeida bids to move towards a title opportunity by battling Derrick Lewis this weekend.

The home favourite was due to face Curtis Blaydes in a five-round clash before the latter was forced to pull out due to injury.

Almeida will now looking to keep his undefeated record up inside the octagon in the UFC Fight Night event, the first in Sao Paulo since 2019.

'Malhadinho' (19-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) may be set for his toughest fight to date in the form of two-time heavyweight title challenger Lewis.

'The Black Beast' (27-11 MMA, 18-9 UFC) cemented his staus as UFC's knockout king by finishing Marcos Rogerio de Lima inside 33-seconds in July.

This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 4.

It is being held at the 11,000-capacity Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The prelim action will start at 11pm with the main card kicking off at 1am on Sunday morning for UK fans.

Almeida vs. Lewis can then be expected at around 4am.

The action will be shown on TNT Sport 2 and their coverage will start at 11pm.

Blaydes has offered an apology to his fans following his withdrawal from this weekend’s event.

He said: “Injuries from camp weren’t healing at a fast enough pace for me to compete at the level required to be the best version of myself Nov 4.

“There’s a difference between being hurt and injured, took me almost 3 months to see the difference.
